Hyatt M. Cribbs Society

The Hyatt M. Cribbs Society is a family of distinguished individuals, groups or organizations who are committed to continuing the benevolent tradition of Wesbury. Hyatt M. Cribbs Society donors are listed in the annual contributors report.

Hyatt M. Cribbs Society Giving Levels are:

Ida M. Cribbs Circle
$2,500 or more in a calendar year

Founder’s Circle
$1,000 – $2,499 in a calendar year

Patrons
$500 – $999 in a calendar year

Members
$250 – $499 in a calendar year

Heritage Council
The Heritage Council is a special designation of the Hyatt M. Cribbs Society, which recognizes individuals who have provided for benevolent care by request, through life insurance, or through life-income gifts.

Special Donations or Recognitions

Campus Beautification

Donations to the Campus Beautification tribute program are used to purchase a shrub, tree, arbor, bench, fountain, or other personalized items in memory or in honor of a loved one. The gift is commemorated with an engraved plaque. Donations to the Circle of Friends Patio are recognized with the installation of an engraved brick in the Memorial Rose Garden, which is located behind Cribbs Residential Center. These projects help support the Benevolent Care Fund and donors are eligible for membership in the Hyatt M. Cribbs Society.

Gifts In-Kind

Donations of goods and services help Wesbury direct scarce resources to areas of greatest need. These gifts may be used or sold to benefit The Wesbury Foundation. Donors who contribute goods or services valued at $500 or more during the calendar year. Please call The Foundation for more information.

Luminaries

On the second Friday of December, Wesbury places holiday luminaries around the campus as a symbol of the care, compassion and hope we all share. A candle is lit for each designated luminary gift made in memory or in honor of a loved one. Paper luminaries are hung in both Grace Rehabilitation and Health Center and Cribbs Residential Center during the month of December to commemorate these gifts. Luminary donations help support the Benevolent Care Fund and donors are eligible for membership in the Hyatt M. Cribbs Society. (Gifts may be made in any amount.)

Stained Glass Windows

Leadership gifts of $25,000 or more may be commemorated with an inscription on a stained glass window in the Emmaline D. Barco Memorial Chapel. Please call The Foundation for more information.

Tree of Life Sculpture

Donations to the Fulfilling the Mission capital campaign, which are greater than $1,000 and received between 1998 and 2003, are commemorated with engraved leaves or foundation stones on the Tree of Life Sculpture in the lobby of Grace Rehabilitation and Health Center. Beginning in 2004, gifts to either the Benevolent Care Fund or the Fulfilling the Mission capital campaign will be recognized with an engraved leaf. (The gift range is $1,000 or more.)
