We are reaching out to passionate individuals who want to lend a hand and bring joy to those who call Wesbury home. If you or someone you know is interested, there are numerous rewarding opportunities to give as much of your time and talents as you wish, when it works best for you to get involved and make a lasting impact.
Volunteer Opportunities:
1. Bingo Assistance:
Help residents enjoy their favorite game of Bingo! Volunteers will assist residents with playing, and ensure they have a great time during the game.
2. Gift Shop Helpers:
Support our gift shop by assisting with stocking, organizing, and helping customers. Your contribution ensures the shop runs smoothly and that residents have access to gifts and necessities.
3. Small Game/Card Players:
Join in on some fun! Volunteers can play cards or small games with residents, offering valuable social interaction and entertainment.
4. Friendly Visitors:
Sometimes, all it takes is a friendly face. As a friendly visitor, you’ll spend time chatting, taking walks, reading, or simply enjoying the outdoors with residents. Your companionship makes a big difference in their day-to-day lives.
5. Summer Concert Series Assistance (August):
Help transport residents to outdoor concerts where they can enjoy live music during the summer. It’s a wonderful way to bring joy to residents while they enjoy some fresh air.
6. Special Event Volunteers:
Assist with a wide range of events, including Resident/Family Picnics, Concerts, Outings (Field Trips), Festivals, and Celebration Parties. Your help ensures these events are successful and enjoyable for all involved.
