GivingTuesday is Today! It started in 2012 as a day to encourage people to do good. Since then, this movement has turned global. When you give to Wesbury’s all-volunteer Sunset Auxiliary, your entire donation (100%) goes directly to enrich the lives of Wesbury’s long-term care and enhanced living and personal care residents.
Examples of their hard work include: the re-paving of Wesbury’s nature trail, golf carts, computers on wheels, vital care carts, blanket warmers, a state-of-the-art projector for Grace Chapel, tents & tables, substantial donations to support renovating the Grace Barber Shop/Salon and a bathing suite project in Grace. Most recently, they donated funds for the purchase of numerous LifeVac devices.
Giving doesn’t just consist of monetary donations. If you choose, you can participate by giving your time and talents as well. The Sunset Auxiliary is always in need of new members. If you would like to volunteer your time, please call (814) 332-9712.
