Introducing Sidekick Smart Custom-Designed Smartwatch with Wesbury at Home

For more than twenty-five years, Wesbury at Home has offered around-the-clock security and peace of mind at the touch of a button with its emergency response programs.

Last year, Wesbury at Home added Sidekick Smart, a custom-designed smartwatch for seniors who prefer the benefits of a medical alert system housed in a functional, stylish wearable instead of a pendant and base console. The Sidekick Smart works as a regular watch but also combines GPS and WiFi signals for pinpointing the accurate location of you or your loved one. That’s not all, the Sidekick Smart has a step counter to track your steps and a heart rate monitor to measure your daily activity levels to help improve your physical well-being. The Sidekick Smart is also water resistant. No need to worry about it while showering, washing hands, or being outside watering plants or washing the car. The cost of the Sidekick Smart is $46.95 per month and like all Wesbury at Home emergency response programs, the contract is month-to-month, and you can cancel at any time.

Wesbury at Home also offers the following emergency response programs:

  • The original Life-Aid In-Home Landline Unit requires standard landline phone service in the home to communicate with the monitoring center. The speaker connects to a power outlet and active wall jack to provide service. The wearable pendant is waterproof, with a battery that lasts up to four years, and can be worn as a necklace or wristband and covers up to 500 square feet of pendant range from the base console. The cost is $34.95 per month.
  • The Cellular Based In-Home Unit option is wireless and does not require landline phone service, the speaker installation is simple, just needs to be plugged in and turned on. The device is equipped with a SIM card that utilizes AT&T cell towers (you do not have to be an AT&T customer for this service). The pendant is waterproof with a battery that lasts up to five years and can be worn as a necklace or wristband with a range of up to 650 square feet from the speaker device. The cost is $38.95 per month.
  • Like the new Sidekick Smart and geared for active seniors who do not spend much of their time in and around their home, the Premium Mobile Device is a waterproof pendant with built-in GPS technology that will tell emergency responders where to go in the event of an emergency. The cost of this program is $42.95 per month.

Additionally, if more than one person living in the home is in need of the same emergency protection, extra help buttons are available. Wesbury at Home also offers a lockbox service that stores keys to the home on its exterior allowing caregivers and emergency responders to access the home quickly without having to force entry during an emergency.
