Thank You for Being a Part of Our Christmas Luminary Tradition

For more than 30 years, on one special night, luminaries have been placed around Wesbury’s campus during the Resident/Family Christmas Reception.  This is one of our favorite nights of the year as it brings so many families and friends together for fellowship as we celebrate this holy season. As with all our 2020 events, the luminary display will take on a new look due to the pandemic.

While we are not able to invite guests to celebrate with the residents indoors, we do not want to break the tradition of our heartwarming luminary display that serves as a symbol of Wesbury’s care and compassion.  Each flame represents a charitable donation that has been made in memory or honor of friends and loved ones.  Throughout the years, many have made this charitable remembrance a part of their holiday traditions.

For 2020 the luminaries given in Honor or Memory of friends or loved ones can be viewed here by downloading the PDF Luminary Presentation.  Luminaries will also be shown on Wesbury’s Channel 900 for Residents to see.

We hope you will continue your support because luminary gifts are directed to Wesbury’s Benevolent Care Fund, which helps us care for residents who have outlived their financial resources.  Luminaries are a Christmas present that gives our residents peace of mind all year.
