If you have been curious about life at Cribbs Residential Center, here is your opportunity to take a look and experience one or all of the following programs:


French Settlers in Crawford County by Annette Lynch

March 10th at 2:00 pm

 In 1828, French immigrants began trickling into the Crawford County townships of Randolph, Mead, East Fairfield, and Wayne. The village of Frenchtown comprises one of the eastern-most links in a chain of French settlements stretching from Pennsylvania to Indiana. In Crawford County, they built a thriving community grounded in Catholic belief.


A Look Back at Meadville with Doug Sekerski

April 16th at 6:00 pm

We will look back at Meadville memories through the photo collection of Doug Sekerski. Take a stroll through Meadville from the 1930s through the 1960s. Enjoy photos of the downtown shopping district and all the fun places we used to go and the different companies where we used to work. Join us to reminisce about a more simple time.


Story of the Unknown Soldier

May 28th at 2:00 pm

 A former Tomb Guard will provide a detailed summary of Arlington National Cemetery (ANC), the origins of the Tomb, the selection, funeral and interment of the Unknowns laid to rest at the Tomb, the Tomb Guards, and the Society. The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is a monument dedicated to deceased U.S. service members whose remains have not been identified. It is located in Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.


The History of Waterford and the Judson House with Heidi Longstreet from the Waterford Historical Society

June 2nd at 2:00 pm

Amos Judson first traveled to Waterford in 1795. He opened his store, which was attached to his home, in the 1820s. The Judson House was built on the site of Fort Leboeuf, where George Washington executed his first military mission in 1753. Today, the house is part of the Waterford Historic District.
