Vision for 2016
As Wesbury keeps pace with the changing world of Healthcare, we remain focused on serving individuals in the setting most appropriate for them. In 2015, 60% of those admitted to Grace Rehabilitation and Health Center successfully completed their rehabilitation therapies and returned home where they desire to be. Once home, Wesbury can follow up with supportive in-home services. Last year, we expanded our “Help at Home with Wesbury” program menu to include Handyman services, in-home beauty and barber services as well as pet care services. Around the region, our care cottage program continues to grow with the purchase and renovation of several new cottages. Wesbury Care Cottages are residential homes that offer a maximum of three residents around-the-clock “Help at Home with Wesbury” services to meet their day-to-day needs. They provide safety and support to low-income residents that qualify for the PA Waiver Program or to those that can pay privately. Additionally, The Wesbury Institute will focus on educating family caregivers on how best to care for their loved ones. These sessions are designed to give caregivers the knowledge needed to keep their family members safe at home.
However, Wesbury is more than a healthcare provider. We are also a lifestyle choice, offering individuals the opportunity to live actively, free of the stresses of maintaining a home. This peace of mind allows for enjoyment of the important things in life. In 2016, look for Wesbury’s Thoburn Village to begin construction on eleven new building lots. At Wesbury, we see ourselves as a community resource available to give you options on planning a lifestyle that best suits you.
